ᨒ riverhuskies attacker Sens ✨️ I've been qu ᨒ riverhuskies attacker Sens ✨️ I've been quite silent here lately. I've had alot to do but also on my mind. I feel like I'm always one step behind from where I should be. One thing is me having to go to the emergency room a few times in the last week again. I've been having alot of complications in my wound after my c-section. This includes an internal bleeding, needing new stitches 4 times, being connected to a vacuum pump for weeks and some chemical burns. 10 days ago I got my latest stitches and today I got plugged into the vacuum pump again. I'm feeling a bit down and I'm more than ready for this to be over with. ᨒ fresh bedding 🛌 Just got in from refilling ᨒ fresh bedding 🛌 Just got in from refilling woodwool in the outside boxes in the dog kennels. I did have my little helpers with me. ᨒ yesterday's run ✨️ Monty got to try runnin ᨒ yesterday's run ✨️ Monty got to try running in lead for the first time ever and he did really good. Especially good in the start (check my stories). I did a new run to get some turns in and even a 180° one but there is definitely more work to do in turns of commands 🤭 We have gotten a fair bit of snow, even more today. ᨒ Quad premiere 🙌🏽 Yesterday was the puppi ᨒ Quad premiere 🙌🏽 Yesterday was the puppies first time working in a team & in front of the quad 💪🏼🐶 THEY RAN BEAUTIFULLY! like they have done this a hundred times before. No biggie at all. They got to keep some comfort and ran with the "usual" pair I've been running them on the kickbike. This ment Sens had to run in lead on his debut and he really did so good. ᨒ biggest gold star 🌟 Goes to Monty after yes ᨒ biggest gold star 🌟 Goes to Monty after yesterday's run with the kickbike 🙌🏽 idk if you've seen my stories about working a bit extra with him after the runs. During our first ever kickbike run he slowed down 2 times and went for a wrong turn once. During our second run he did 2 smaller break ins but then also make a complete stop when we passed a place where a small creek ran close to the woods. He had never seen running water and him always being extra alert to his surroundings reacted to it. So I got them running again after the stop. This prevents him to learn that he can to that and we will stop and let him do whatever. Then I stopped pretty quickly, earlier than what I had planned and took him on a leash back to the creek. He could smell and walk around in it to get familiar with it. Then after a while I took him back up on the road and ran passed a couple of times so he would learn to ignore it. I think this helped alot because on the third ever kickbike run, yesterday, he did not slow down. He didn't stop. He didn't make for doing a wrong turn. He just ran, beautifully and effortlessly next to his mama. ᨒ sunny day ☀️ Today I brought Sens with me ᨒ sunny day ☀️ Today I brought Sens with me on my daily walk with the stroller. We had a lovely time walking under the clear blue sky with the sun warming up the crispy air. So few days left with this feeling in the air and then we have to wait until early spring before it arrives again. Sens did really, really good walking on leash! This was his first time being on a real walk with the collar and leash. Since I have such a huge enclosure and kennels, my dogs are not used to walks. I'm trying to get better with that though. I had some bigger complications after the birth of my son 2 months ago so I'm just happy being back walking again.
